Governance

RTO/ERO is governed by an elected body of its members comprised of two representatives from each of its 51 District Executives. These “corporate members” attend the Annual Meeting of RTO/ERO each May to receive reports from the Chair of the Board and Executive Director, on behalf of the nine-member Board of Directors, and provide input on behalf of their Districts. Twice a year, once following the Annual Meeting in May and once in October, the corporate members receive reports from various provincial committees on areas such as insurance, political advocacy, member services, communications, and pension issues as well as discuss broad issues related to RTO/ERO’s Strategic Plan.
